This project aims to assess the roles of Estate Surveyors and in project management in Nigeria. The project among others is to ascertain where an Estate Surveyor and valuer fits in project depends on the careful co-ordination of the various professionals involved in such project while the issue of who should co-ordinate has been variously contested. But this study proposes an Estate Surveyors and valuers as the most ideal project manager. As an integral part of the development process, project manager eliminates lack of direction and control in the project team which often result in low productive and failure to meet delivery dates.
